It is helpful for the algal blooms and the growth of chlorophyll-bearing organisms.Also,It can be found in all sludges from wastewater treatment and detergents.Phosphorus can be measured by gravimetric,volumetric and colorimetric methods.Combining with ammonium molybdate under acid conditions,phosphate ion will form blue molybdophosphate complex.Either ascorbic acid or stannous chloride is used as reducing agent.
